About the Role

What You Will Do:
• Partner and collaborate with multi-functional stakeholders to prioritize, plan and deliver first-rate experiences for Workday customers.
• Drive the activities of software development scrum teams, including analysis, design, programming, and continuous improvement, ensuring delivery of innovative, high quality software solutions.
• Engage with Development, Product, QA, Automation, Research/UX, Agility, Doc-writing, and Customer Support colleagues to identify, discuss, debate and ultimately solve customer issues in increasingly creative ways.
• Understand and promote industry-standard software design methodologies.
• Coach and mentor team members to help them to be at their best, assisting with career growth and personal development.
• Personify and promote the Workday values of Employees, Customer Service, Innovation, Integrity, Fun, and Profitability.

About You
Basic Qualifications(Required)
• 5 years of experience building and directly managing impactful engineering teams.
• 6+ years of experience with design and development for mission critical systems at scale.
• 6+ years of experience developing software solutions using Cloud-based technologies.
• 6+ years of experience with design and development using an object-oriented language such as Java, Python, C#, C++, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience.
