Job Summary
Technology: Snowflake Data platform Admin
Location: Offshore
• Responsibilities:
• Provide operational support for Snowflake environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and jobs.
• Handle user access requests and permissions.
• Handle minor code changes and small projects
• Replay data pipelines to resolve issues
• Assist with incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Maintain documentation and support logs.
• Qualifications:
• L3 years of experience supporting Snowflake.
• Familiarity with SQL and data operations.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
• Ability to work in a follow-the-sun support model.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
Snowflake Engineer Requirements
• Data Ingestion & Integration: Build and manage real-time and batch data pipelines using HVR or Fivetran to extract data from diverse source systems.
• Ensure data freshness, reliability, and consistency across ingestion workflows.
• Data Transformation & Modeling: Use SQL, Coalesce, and Snowflake stored procedures to implement modular, reusable, and well-documented transformation logic.
• Develop and maintain dimensional models, data marts, and semantic layers optimized for analytics and BI.
• Workflow Orchestration: Develop and maintain Airflow DAGs to schedule and monitor ETL/ELT jobs.
• Integrate stored procedures into orchestration workflows for complex logic and automation.
