Job Summary
The Network Security Lead is responsible for overseeing the operation, implementation, and management of enterprise-level network security and other tower solutions. This role ensures the protection of organizational networks, systems, and data by leading security operations, driving strategic improvements, and guiding the technical team in mitigating threats and vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage day-to-day network security operations across customer environments.
• Oversee firewall administration, VPN management, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and secure network configuration.
• Coordinate and support incident response activities, including containment, root-cause analysis, and remediation.
• Perform regular reviews of network security controls and ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineering, SOC, DDI, LBAAS and customer stakeholders,



to implement security enhancements.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support patching cycles for network-related assets.
• Prepare and deliver periodic reports on security posture, incident trends, and operational performance to customer/account leadership.
• Mentor L1/L2 engineers and ensure adherence to established processes and security best practices.

Skill Requirements
• Robust expertise in enterprise firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Network RnS).
• Proficiency in IDS/IPS, VPN technologies, proxy solutions, NAC, and network segmentation.
• Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching).
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools and log analysis.
• Solid knowledge of threat detection, vulnerability management, and security hardening.
• Ability to lead technical teams and drive process improvements.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Other Requirements
• Relevant certifications such as, CCNP Security, CCNA, CCNP or vendor-specific firewall certifications.
• Experience working in regulated industries or with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS).
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment if required.
• Knowledge of cloud network security (Azure, AWS, GCP) is an added advantage.
