Job Summary
This role oversees the strategic coordination and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity exercises for large-scale operations. The individual ensures robust preparedness by leading process improvements, optimizing response strategies, and aligning exercise management with organizational and client objectives. They empower teams, drive innovation in recovery practices, and uphold operational excellence to meet stringent service-level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the design and execution of disaster recovery exercises using advanced DR planning tools and methodologies, ensuring robust test coverage for critical systems and adherence to regulatory requirements.
2. Oversee BCP exercise management by developing, scheduling, and monitoring scenario-based simulations, leveraging BCP management platforms to validate organizational preparedness and identify improvement areas.
3. Define and implement disaster recovery technology strategies, collaborating with internal stakeholders to align recovery solutions with enterprise IT architecture and business objectives.
4. Provide expert guidance to teams in troubleshooting, escalation,



and resolution of issues during DR/BCP exercises, ensuring timely restoration of services and comprehensive incident documentation.
5. Analyze exercise outcomes using data analytics tools to generate management reports, track key performance indicators, and recommend actionable improvements to operational processes.
6. Mentor and empower project teams in best practices for DR/BCP coordination, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous professional development within the function.
7. Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating emerging DR/BCP technologies and frameworks to enhance organizational resilience and operational efficiency.

Skill Requirements

1. Advanced Skills In Bcp Exercise Management, Including Scenario Design, Execution, And PostExercise Analysis.
2. InDepth Knowledge Of Dr/Bcp Tools Such As Ibm Resiliency Orchestrator, Fusion Framework, Or Similar Platforms.
3. Solid Understanding Of It Infrastructure, Cloud Environments, And Their Impact On Dr/Bcp Strategies.
4. Excellent Analytical And Reporting Skills Using Tools Like Power Bi Or Tableau.
5. Strong Leadership, Mentoring, And Communication Skills To Manage Large Teams And Complex Projects.

Other Requirements

1. Certified Business Continuity Skilled (CBCP) or equivalent (optional but valuable).
2. ITIL Foundation Certification (optional but valuable).
3. Certified Disaster Recovery Engineer (CDRE) (optional but valuable).
