Job Summary
Role Summary
Lead teams to deliver reliable, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines with strong SLAs, data quality, performance tuning, and observability.

Responsibilities
Own the ETL roadmap, delivery management, and resource planning.
Establish coding standards, best practices, reusable templates.
Architect CDC, SCD, backfill, and late-data strategies.
Optimize ETL performance through partitioning, pushdown, and parallelism.
Implement observability: logs, metrics, lineage, and alerts.
Enforce data quality validations and remediation workflows.
Manage scheduling/orchestration.
Collaborate on SLAs and interface agreements with source/consumer teams.
Drive cost optimization and runtime efficiency.
Mentor engineers and lead incident response and RCAs.

Requirements (Updated & Relevant)
Expert SQL and hands-on with one or more ETL tools (DataStage, Informatica, Ab Initio, Spark).
Robust knowledge of orchestration tools (Airflow, Control-M).
Practical understanding of data quality tools, lineage systems, CI/CD, and cloud data platforms.
Experience building reusable ETL frameworks and enforcing standards.

Experience
8–12+ years; prior technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using ibm infosphere datastage suite.
2. Write and optimize complex sql queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
3. Develop and maintain oracle pl/sql procedures, functions, and packages for data processing.
4. Create and maintain unix shell scripts for automation and scheduling of data workflows.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical recommendations for data integration projects.
6. Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of data integration jobs.
7. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in all data processing activities.

Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency in ibm infosphere datastage suite for etl processes.
2. Strong command over sql for querying and managing relational databases.
3. Experience in developing and optimizing oracle pl/sql procedures.
4. Knowledge of unix shell scripting for automating data workflows.
