About The Job:

- As an IAM engineer-L1, you will play a critical role in ensuring secure, compliant and seamless access management across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and infrastructure environments. You will be responsible for supporting IAM operations, handling user lifecycle management, troubleshooting authentication and authorization issues, and maintaining identity governance process across the organization.
- In this role, you will collaborate closely with cybersecurity teams and business stakeholders to implement and support secure access solutions aligned with organizational security standards and compliance requirements. You will contribute to automation initiatives, identity governance improvements, and continuous enhancement of IAM processes to strengthen enterprise security posture and operational efficiency.
- The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in IAM technologies such as Active Directory, SailPoint, Ping Federate, CyberArk or similar platforms, along with a strong understanding of authentication protocols, access controls, and identity lifecycle management.
- The candidate should be willing to work 24*7 rotational shifts and support global operations environment.

Essential Job Functions:
- Manage day-to-day IAM operations including user provisioning, modification, and access reviews.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and role transition activities across enterprise applications and systems.
- Able to perform JML (Joiner-Mover-Leaver) process.
- Configure and manage user identities, roles, groups, entitlements, and access permissions.




- Ensure timely resolution of IAM-related incidents, service requests, and access issues within SLA timelines.
- Monitor IAM systems, authentication services, and directory platform to ensure high availability and operational stability.
- Manage authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, and Kerberos.
- Implement Role-Based Access Control and least privilege access principles.
- Coordinate with application teams for troubleshooting the issue across various IAM platforms.

IAM Governance & Compliance
- Participate in compliance and audit activities.
- Ensure compliance with organization security policies, SOX, ISO 27001, GDPR and other regulatory standards.
- Generate IAM audit reports, and compliance documentation.
- Identify security gaps and recommend remediation measures for access related risk.
- Able to perform health checks across various IAM platforms.

Incident and Change Management
- Work on incident management, SR and change management activities.
- Handle P1/P2 critical incidents and provide timely resolution within SLA timelines.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
- Coordinate with global support teams during high priority production issues.

Automation and Process Improvement
- Support automation initiatives for manual onboarding and access management processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve IAM workflows and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to documentation, SOP creation and knowledge management activities.

Qualifications:
Mandatory Skills

- Strong IAM concepts
- Tools: SailPoint, AD, PowerShell

Desirable skills:
- Exposure on Ping Federate, CyberArk or any SSO based tool.
- Exposure on Splunk will be added advantage.

- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as SailPoint or IAM certifications (Ping Federate, CyberArk), are a plus
