SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
1 Provide L1/L2 production support, ensuring smooth production operations, handling incidents, and maintaining system stability in a 24x7 support workplace.
2 Monitor application health, logs, and alerts to ensure high availability
3 Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement quick fixes / workarounds
4 Troubleshoot issues using SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, and Unix commands
5 Execute batch jobs, scripts, and validate data integrity across systems
6 Coordinate with L3, development, SME, and cross-functional teams for resolution
7 Maintain proper documentation of incidents, fixes, and SOPs
8 Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and SLA commitments
9 Proactively identify system issues and suggest improvements to enhance stability
