Job Summary
The Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer will support Gallagher’s enterprise AVD platform, responsible for building, operating, and optimizing scalable, secure virtual desktop environments. This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, supporting both published applications and full desktop use cases with a robust emphasis on performance, reliability, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Build, configure, and support Azure Virtual Desktop host pools.
• Manage Windows 10/11 enterprise images and application delivery.
• Configure and support FSLogix profile containers.




• Troubleshoot AVD performance, connectivity, and session issues.
• Implement scaling plans, availability, and cost optimization strategies.
• Document AVD standards and operational runbooks.

Skill Requirements
3–6 years of experience supporting virtual desktop or EUC platforms.
Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop.
Strong experience with Azure compute, networking, and storage.
Experience with FSLogix profile management and troubleshooting.
Strong operational and problem-solving skills.
