Job Description: A Process Shift Incharge is responsible for overseeing and managing a specific work shift in a production environment to ensure smooth, secure, and efficient operations. Key duties include supervising and motivating staff, monitoring process parameters to meet production and quality targets, coordinating with other departments like maintenance and quality control, and enforcing safety and company policies. This role involves problem-solving, detailed record-keeping through shift reports, and ensuring a proper handover to the next shift. Key responsibilities

- Production and operations management:
- Supervise and control production processes to achieve daily targets.
- Monitor and maintain optimal operating parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, feed rates).
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and log sheets.

- Staff supervision and management:

- Lead and motivate the shift team to maintain performance and discipline.
- Allocate manpower and manage shift handover and takeover effectively.
- Address and resolve operational and personnel issues,



including mediating conflicts.

- Quality control:

- Monitor the quality of the final product against set standards.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) department for testing and corrective actions.

- Safety and compliance:

- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
- Conduct regular safety checks and promote safe work practices.
- Report and respond to safety incidents and near-misses.

- Maintenance and reporting:

- Identify and report equipment issues to the maintenance team for timely repair.
- Maintain accurate shift logs, production details, and downtime records.
- Prepare and submit shift reports to management.

- Continuous improvement:

- Identify and help implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the improvement of working procedures and overall efficiency.
