To ensure the smooth, secure, and efficient operation of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) in compliance with environmental regulations and company sustainability standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and related wastewater treatment systems during the assigned shift.
- Analyze influent and effluent samples for key parameters (pH, COD, BOD, TSS, TDS, etc.) and maintain proper records.
- Ensure treated water quality meets PCB norms and company environmental standards.
- Perform chemical dosing and maintain optimum levels for efficient treatment.
- Handle sludge management, filtration units, and reverse osmosis systems (if applicable).
- Maintain logbooks, operation records, and shift reports accurately.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team for timely repair and upkeep of ETP equipment (pumps, blowers,
clarifiers, aeration tanks, etc.).
- Monitor chemical consumption and assist in inventory management.
- Support audits, inspections, and reporting to environmental authorities (PCB).
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality norms.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of ETP process operations and wastewater treatment techniques.
- Familiarity with analytical testing for water and effluent parameters.
- Hands-on experience with ETP instrumentation and chemical handling.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Awareness of environmental and pollution control norms.
- Teamwork, attention to detail, and safety-oriented mindset.
