Job Summary:
Sarathy Geotech Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a strong
background in geotechnical engineering to oversee and manage on land engineering projects. The
ideal candidate will possess an M.E./MTech in Geotechnical Engineering and have a proven track
record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management
 Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
 Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to define project objectives and
deliverables.
 Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet deadlines.
 Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental
guidelines.
Technical Expertise
 Conduct site investigations and provide geotechnical analysis for foundation design, slope
stability, soil mechanics, and other related aspects.
 Review and approve geotechnical designs, drawings, and reports prepared by the team.
 Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Team Leadership
 Lead multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, to ensure
seamless project execution.
 Foster a cooperative work environment and resolve conflicts effectively.
Client and Stakeholder Management
 Serve as the primary point of contact for clients,



providing regular updates on project status
and addressing concerns promptly.
 Prepare and deliver presentations, technical reports, and proposals to stakeholders.
Budget and Resource Management
 Manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
 Optimize resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
Quality Assurance and Risk Management
 Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards in all project phases.
 Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Education
 M.E./M.Tech/ M S in Geotechnical Engineering (mandatory).
Experience
 8+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with at least 3 years in a project
management role.

Technical Skills
 Proficiency in geotechnical engineering standards and Industry practices.
 Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS codes, Eurocodes, ASTM).
 Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Zoho).
Soft Skills
 Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
 Strong communication and presentation skills.
 Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
 Must be willing to travel Pan India and Abroad for the meetings / execution as and when
required.
Certifications (Preferred)
 PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.
