Job Description:

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled GIS Expert with 5+ years of experience to manage and optimize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) . The role involves developing spatial data solutions, supporting urban planning, infrastructure management, and ensuring accurate mapping for public services.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing record of government land, public purpose land, private land, etc.

- Assist in mapping of public infrastructure like fire stations, libraries, parks & gardens, lakes, water bodies, health centers, hospitals, playgrounds, community halls, etc.

- Assist in developing and managing GIS basemaps and spatial layers for all ULB assets (roads, waterlines, drains, TPs, parks).

- Support the creation of a ULB Geo-Database linked to departments for spatial decision-making.

- Assist in providing GIS-related solutions for urban planning, land use validation, and encroachment detection.





- End-to-end support related to all GIS implementation work.

Key Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.

- 5+ years of professional experience in GIS implementation and management.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in GIS Projects Implementation Work .
- Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD Map, etc.).

- Solid knowledge of spatial data management, urban planning, and municipal applications.

- Skilled in database management (SQL, PostgreSQL/PostGIS) and GIS integration.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.

- Experience in public sector or municipal projects preferred.
