Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated HR Specialist with expertise in compliance and payroll to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, as well as experience in payroll administration. As an HR Specialist specializing in compliance and payroll, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients organization remains compliant with all applicable laws and regulations while effectively managing payroll processes for our employees and our clients employees.

Responsibilities:

1. Compliance Management:
- Stay updated with state, and local employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all applicable requirements.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on compliance-related matters,



including wage and hour laws, and other HR-related regulations.

- Payroll Administration:

- Oversee payroll processes, including processing payroll, calculating wages, deductions, and taxes, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
- Maintain accurate records of employee hours worked, leaves of absence, and other relevant payroll information.
- Address employee inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll data and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Prepare and file payroll-related tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

- HR Reporting and Analysis:

- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports related to compliance, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Generate ad-hoc reports and presentations for management as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, with a focus on compliance and payroll administration.
- Strong understanding of local employment laws and regulations.
- Experience with payroll processing systems and software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing and compliance management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
