In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical architecture and strategic delivery, leading cross-functional engineering teams to build scalable, high-performance applications using Agile/Scrum methodologies.Key Responsibilities1. Technical Direction & Architecture OversightEvaluate technical designs, code architecture, and engineering choices in Python ecosystems to ensure scalability, security, and performance.Conduct high-level technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural alignment with senior developers and technical architects.Troubleshoot complex technical bottlenecks alongside developers when required.2. Team Management & LeadershipDirect line management of 10–20 software engineers, QA analysts, and technical leads.Mentor and upskill team members, foster a culture of technical excellence, and conduct performance evaluations.Manage resource allocation, capacity planning, and workload distribution across concurrent streams.3. Agile Project Delivery & ExecutionDrive end-to-end delivery using Scrum / Agile methodologies—facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Manage project timelines, scope, dependencies, and risks using tools like Jira, Confluence,



or Azure DevOps.Translate business requirements from product management into clear technical epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.4. Stakeholder Management & CommunicationAct as the primary liaison between engineering teams, product managers, executive leadership, and external clients.Provide transparent status reporting, risk mitigation plans, and delivery metrics (e.G., team velocity, burn-down charts).Key QualificationsTechnical Requirements10–13 years of overall software industry experience, with at least 3–5 years in a dedicated Technical Project Manager or Engineering Lead role.Solid background in Python development (e.G., Django, Flask, FastAPI, or Python for Data/Backend services).Sound understanding of relational/NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization concepts (Docker, Kubernetes) is a strong plus.Management & MethodologyProven track record of managing technical teams and driving sprint execution end-to-end.Deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles and software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.Expertise in project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello, or MS Project).Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with strong problem-solving capabilities.Preferred Certifications (Optional / Plus)Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or SAFe Agilist certification.PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.What We OfferCompetitive salary and performance incentives.Clear career progression paths into Senior Engineering Management or Director-level roles.Collaborative engineering culture with access to the latest tools and training.
