Job Description:
We are seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) fresher to assist in managing, monitoring, and maintaining organizational databases. The candidate will support database operations, performance monitoring, backup, recovery, and security under guidance of senior DBAs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in database installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Monitor database performance and availability
- Perform basic backup and recovery operations
- Execute SQL queries and support data management
- Manage database users and access controls
- Document database processes and incidents
Required Skills:
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Understanding of RDBMS concepts
- Familiarity with MySQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle / SQL Server
- Knowledge of backup and recovery basics
- Basic understanding of database security
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
Preferred Skills:
- Linux or Windows server basics
- Academic projects or internship experience in databases
- Cloud database exposure (AWS/Azure – basic)
