The position will work closely with the Programme and
Fundraising teams to support the development and delivery of high -quality
fundraising proposals and pitches, with a primary focus on corporates, HNIs and
strategic donors. The role will engage with fundraising leads and programme teams
across thematic areas to strengthen organizational fundraising readiness and
proposal quality.
Key
Responsibilities
1. Programme–Fundraising
Coordination
- Act as a key coordination point
between the Programme teams and the Fundraising teams for the development
of concept notes, detailed proposals and funding pitches in a time -bound
manner.
- Ensure alignment between donor
priorities, organisational strategy, and programme objectives across conservation
of biodiversity landscapes and ecological footprint initiatives.
- Participate in and contribute to management
discussions related to fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and
programme resourcing.
2. Funding
Prioritisation & Planning
- Work with the Programme teams to
identify, prioritise, and package funding requirements for existing and
new projects.
- Liaise with the Fundraising teams to
match programme priorities with suitable funding opportunities, donors,
and funding windows.
- Maintain a repository of proposals,
concept notes, budgets, and donor -specific formats for institutional
learning and efficiency.
- Plan and coordinate visits to
WWF -India’s implementation sites to gather recent ideas, visualisation of
on -ground impacts, human stories and meet with collaborators and partners
for wider understanding of WWF -India’s work.
3. Donor
Engagement
- Participate in donor meetings, calls,
and presentations, as required, to effectively communicate programmatic
priorities, impacts, and implementation approaches.
- Support Programme teams in preparing
donor -ready narratives, presentations, and briefing materials.
- Work with the Programme Communication
team and M&E; team to design effective and innovative mechanisms around
addressing donor queries.
4. Cross -Cutting
Support
- Support capacity building of the Programme
teams and fundraising teams on fundraising -related processes, donor
expectations, and best practices of proposal development practices.
- Track proposal pipelines, submission
status, and internal deadlines in coordination with the Fundraising teams.
- Undertake any other tasks related to
fundraising coordination and programme support that the organisation may
reasonably request.
