We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Android Mobile Application Developer to join our dynamic mobile development team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge mobile applications for the Android platform. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including back-end engineers and UX/UI designers to deliver seamless, high-performing, and user-friendly mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build advanced mobile applications for the Android platform.
Collaborate with the UX/UI design team and back-end developers to implement new features and enhance existing functionalities.
Develop reusable libraries, application frameworks, and shared components to streamline future development.
Debug and resolve complex application issues using appropriate tools such as Android Debugger and log analysis.
Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and design evaluations.
Stay up to date with the latest mobile technologies and industry trends; evaluate and recommend new tools or frameworks.
Provide strategic input to the mobile roadmap and influence product direction.
Work in an Agile/Scrum setting and contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Scope of Responsibilities
Deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable code for Android applications.
Collaborate with team members to publish Android apps to the Google Play Store.
Maintain and improve existing codebases.
Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Implement effective communication mechanisms between mobile apps and back-end systems using RESTful APIs and data formats like JSON and XML.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in Android development with a strong command of Java and Android SDK.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD) principles.
Experience integrating mobile applications with server-side systems via REST APIs.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and iterative development cycles.
Experience publishing applications to the Google Play Store.
Robust debugging and performance tuning skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Nice to Have
Experience with Kotlin is a plus.
Knowledge of mobile security and data protection best practices.
Familiarity with MVVM, MVP, or other architectural patterns.
Exposure to CI/CD tools for mobile development.
