Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Aqua Technician based in Bhimavaram, with work also requiring visits to the Srikakulam region. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining aquatic environments, conducting regular water quality testing, and handling aquatic animal health management.



Other tasks include providing guidance and support to farmers in adopting best practices and troubleshooting any issues related to aquaculture operations.

You will also collaborate with the team to implement innovative solutions and enhance aquatic productivity.

Qualifications
Expertise in water quality testing and aquatic setting management
Experience in aquatic animal health management and problem-solving
Robust communication and interpersonal skills for providing guidance to farmers
Ability to work in office and travel to different locations within the Srikakulam region
Proficiency in local languages and knowledge of the regional aquaculture setting is an advantage
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Aquaculture, Marine Biology, Fisheries Science, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in aquaculture operations
Self-motivated team player with a solution-oriented mindset
