We are looking for an experienced DRE – Body Exterior Trim to lead the design and development of vehicle body exterior components for complete vehicle programs. This role is ideal for professionals with robust OEM experience in exterior plastic component development, UG NX design, and product lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of Body Exterior Trim components throughout the product lifecycle.
Develop and validate exterior components including:
Front & Rear Bumpers
Grille
Bumper Mounting Brackets
Roof Rails
Badges
Wheel Flares
Wheel Liners
Claddings
Belly Pan
Front End Module (FEM)
Spoilers and other functional plastic components.
Ensure compliance with exterior homologation and regulatory requirements.
Drive concept design, feasibility studies, design reviews, and master section creation.
Manage BOM, engineering changes, issue resolution, and product releases.
Coordinate with suppliers, design studio, vehicle integration, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams.
Support tooling release, validation activities (ED, DV & PV), and production launch.
Perform DFMEA,



APQP activities, and technical risk assessments.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction, weight optimization, and quality improvement.

Required Skills
6–8 years of experience in Body Exterior Design & Development.
Robust expertise in UG NX and PLM ENOVIA.
Experience with Teamcenter (CATIA is an added advantage).
Hands-on experience in exterior plastic component design and development.
Strong knowledge of plastic processing, tooling, and manufacturing.
Experience with painted, chromed, and molded grained plastic parts.
Knowledge of BOM management, change management, APQP, DFMEA, and product release processes.
Ability to conduct supplier technical reviews and resolve development issues.
Solid cross-functional coordination and problem-solving skills.
OEM automotive experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Experience
Complete vehicle program ownership from Tool Kick-Off (TKO) to SOP/Launch.
Exterior homologation compliance.
Vehicle integration and supplier management.
Cost optimization and engineering change management.
