Role Description This full time, on-site Area Sales Manager role is based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The role involves managing and expanding the company’s sales network in the assigned territory, including identifying current business opportunities, building relationships with dealers, distributors, and key customers, and meeting sales targets.

The Area Sales

Manager will monitor market trends, gather competitor insights, and support the implementation of promotional activities and campaigns. Daily responsibilities include visiting clients, conducting product presentations, negotiating contracts, tracking sales performance,



and preparing regular reports for management. The role also requires coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, customer satisfaction, and resolution of any service or product issues.

Qualifications
Proven experience in field sales, territory management, or area sales, preferably in the automotive or related sector.
Strong skills in customer relationship management, negotiation, and closing deals.
Ability to analyze sales data, monitor market conditions, and translate insights into actionable plans.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently in an on-site, field-based role.
Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.
Fluency in English and local languages used in the Kolkata metropolitan area is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
