Troubleshoot lag, checkpoints, trail file issues, and network performance.

Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain Oracle 12c/19c/21c database settings.
Perform backup/recovery using RMAN; validate restore scenarios regularly.
Administer Oracle RAC, ASM, ACFS, and cluster components.
Manage tablespaces, schema, user security, and resource allocation.
Implement Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery.
Perform Capacity planning, database health checks, and proactive risk mitigation.
Support migration and platform upgrades (AIX/Linux/OCI). 3.

Perform SQL Tuning using: o AWR/ASH/ADDM o SQL Monitor &
Real-Time SQL Tuning o TKPROF, SQL Trace o Execution plan analysis & plan stability techniques
Optimize: o SQL Queries o PL/SQL Logic o Index & partitioning strategies o RAC-aware workload distribution
Address contention: o Latches,



locks, buffer busy waits, gc waits in RAC
Implement SQL Baselines, SQL Profiles, SPO to prevent plan regression.
Deep understanding of optimizer behavior, statistics, histograms, and cardinality estimates. 4.
