Cosmetic Formulation Chemist – Natural & Herbal Cosmetics

Jeyam Herbals is looking for a passionate Cosmetic Formulation Chemist to join our Research & Development (R&D;) team.

If you have experience in developing natural and herbal cosmetic products and enjoy creating creative formulations, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and improve natural and herbal cosmetic formulations.
Formulate products such as hair oils, shampoos, soaps, face packs, creams, lotions, serums, lip balms, and other personal care products.
Research herbal extracts, natural ingredients, and cosmetic raw materials.
Conduct formulation trials, stability testing, compatibility testing, and product evaluation.
Prepare formulation records, batch sheets, SOPs, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with Production and Quality teams during product development and scale-up.
Ensure products comply with cosmetic quality and safety standards.

Qualifications
B.Pharm / M.Pharm




B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry or Biotechnology)
B.Tech Biotechnology
BAMS / BSMS
Or any equivalent qualification relevant to cosmetic formulation.

Requirements
1–3 years of experience in cosmetic or personal care product formulation is preferred.
Freshers with strong formulation knowledge and R&D; interest are also welcome to apply.
Good understanding of herbal ingredients, cosmetic raw materials, emulsions, surfactants, preservatives, and formulation techniques.
Solid analytical, research, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
