Role & responsibilities
Research denim trends, forecasts, and conduct market visits to develop recent concepts.
Create seasonal mood boards, concept boards, and storyboards reflecting design direction.
Develop denim fabric and garment presentations with washed samples and storytelling for buyers.
Collaborate with sampling, pattern, washing, and merchandising teams for development and execution.
Support marketing and product development teams with design inputs.
Manage multiple styles and ensure timely handover of tech packs and artwork.
Maintain awareness of international denim markets (USA / UK / EU) and adapt designs accordingly.
Preferred candidate profile
Education: Graduate from NIFT/NID or equivalent design institute.
Experience: 12 + years in denim design with an export house, garment manufacturer, or brand.
