Role Overview :

We are looking for a Lead - uPVC Category Design to drive design strategy, innovation, and product development for uPVC doors & windows. The role will lead the design function, enhance product aesthetics & performance, and align offerings with market trends and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Innovation:
Lead design innovation for uPVC product category
Track market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences
Strengthen product positioning through design differentiation

Design & Operations:
Own end-to-end design lifecycle: concept → prototyping → production
Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality benchmarks
Drive project timelines, efficiency, and execution

Financial & Business Impact:
Optimize design costs in collaboration with procurement
Contribute to revenue growth through market-relevant designs
Ensure budget adherence

Customer & Market Orientation:
Build customer-centric product designs
Integrate feedback into product improvements
Work with vendors/suppliers for material quality

Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor design team
Drive cross-functional collaboration (R&D;, Marketing, Manufacturing)




Support hiring and team capability building

Key Skills Required:

Technical:
Robust expertise in uPVC / Aluminium systems (Windows & Doors)
Hands-on experience in CAD tools (AutoCAD / SolidWorks)
Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes & prototyping
Understanding of industry standards & compliance
