MS Ophthalmology
DNB Ophthalmology

Registration
Valid NMC / State Medical Council Registration

Experience
Experienced candidates preferred
Candidates should be capable of independently managing comprehensive Ophthalmology OPD services

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive Eye OPD consultations
Diagnose and manage cataract, glaucoma, refractive errors, dry eye, conjunctival disorders, and other common ophthalmic conditions
Perform comprehensive eye examinations including slit-lamp evaluation, refraction, fundoscopy, and tonometry
Interpret diagnostic investigations such as OCT, Visual Field, Fundus Photography, and B-Scan as required
Manage ophthalmic emergencies and provide appropriate referrals when necessary
Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, medications, and preventive eye care




Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records
Coordinate with Retina, Cornea, Glaucoma, Cataract, and Oculoplasty specialists for multidisciplinary patient care

Skills Required
Strong clinical expertise in General Ophthalmology
Excellent diagnostic and patient management skills
Positive communication and patient counselling abilities
Professional, ethical, and patient-centric approach
Ability to work independently in a high-volume OPD setup
