Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled GL Accountant with 5 to 8 years of experience to manage the general ledger accounting functions, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have a robust grasp of accounting principles and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards.
Analyze and report on financial variances.




Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all GL transactions.

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in general ledger accounting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho, Tally ).
Robust understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Robust communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
