Industry: Boiler Manufacturing

Experience: 3–5 years of experience in boiler or heavy fabrication industry

Qualification: Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or Draftsmanship

Key Responsibilities

Solid knowledge of mechanical components, welding symbols, tolerances, and fabrication processes Familiarity with boiler codes (IBR, ASME)

Prepare detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings of boilers and pressure parts using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)

Create assembly and fabrication drawings for boiler components like drums, headers, water walls,



superheaters, economizers, and other auxiliary systems

Understand engineering sketches, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and specifications provided by design engineers

Convert conceptual designs into manufacturing-ready drawings

Generate and maintain accurate BOMs for all boiler components

Ensure that all materials listed comply with project specifications and standards.

Generate isometric piping layouts and routing details for steam, feedwater, and blowdown systems

Prepare drawings for supporting structures, access platforms, ladders, and maintenance walkways
