Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Inventory Unit Lead to oversee inventory operations, ensure stock accuracy, manage a team, and streamline inventory processes. The ideal candidate should have robust leadership skills, excellent analytical abilities, and experience in warehouse or inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Inventory Operations team.
Ensure accurate inventory tracking, stock reconciliation, and record maintenance.
Plan and execute daily inventory operations across warehouses and distribution points.
Monitor stock movement, shortages, excess inventory, and discrepancies.
Conduct cycle counts, physical stock verification, and inventory audits.
Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Operations, and Finance teams.
Maintain inventory data in ERP/WMS systems.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
Implement inventory control measures to reduce stock loss and improve accuracy.
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members.
Ensure timely dispatch readiness and inventory availability.
Drive continuous process improvements and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Eligibility
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
36 years of experience in Inventory, Warehouse, or Supply Chain Operations.
Minimum 1–2 years of team handling experience.
Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and warehouse operations.
Experience with ERP/WMS software.
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced operational setting.
Preferred Skills
Experience in E-commerce, Logistics, Retail, or Technology-driven Operations.
Strong understanding of Inventory KPIs and process optimization.
Knowledge of barcode/RFID-based inventory systems is an added advantage.
