Job Description – Indian Commis I / II

Position: Indian Commis I / II

Location: RR Nagar

Salary: Commi 1 -16 to 24k

Commi 2- 14 to 16k

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook Indian cuisine dishes as per standard recipes and portion guidelines.
Assist in mise en place and daily kitchen preparations.
Ensure food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency are maintained.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards as per FSSAI guidelines.
Monitor stock levels and inform seniors about shortages.
Follow FIFO, FEFO, and food storage procedures.
Minimize food wastage and control costs.
Coordinate with the kitchen team for smooth service operations.
Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Requirements:





Commis I:* 2–4 years of experience in an Indian kitchen.

Commis II:* 1–3 years of experience in an Indian kitchen.
Knowledge of Indian curries, gravies, breads, tandoor, and regional cuisines.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced setting and flexible shifts.
Team player with a positive attitude.
