Job Summary The Junior Site Engineer will supervise and monitor construction activities under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) Project, including school buildings, classrooms, toilets, boundary walls, and other educational infrastructure. The role requires ensuring quality, safety, timely execution, and compliance with project specifications and government standards.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily construction activities.
Execute work as per approved drawings, BOQ, and specifications.
Monitor excavation, RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, painting, and finishing work.
Conduct site inspections and maintain quality standards.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, school authorities, and government officials.
Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) and maintain site documentation.
Verify work measurements and maintain Measurement Book (MB).
Manage construction materials and labour productivity.
Coordinate material testing and quality checks.
Ensure safety compliance at the construction site.
Report project issues and assist in contractor billing.




Complete projects within the approved timeline and budget.

Educational Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Experience
2–3 years in building construction projects.
Experience in Government, School Infrastructure, or Institutional Projects is preferred.

Required Skills

Engineering drawing and BOQ reading.
Quantity estimation and billing.
Quality control and construction materials.
MS Office and AutoCAD.
Solid communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently at multiple project locations.
