Role & responsibilities
Analyze engineering drawings, 3D models, and customer specifications.
Prepare detailed process plans, routing sheets, and operation sequences for tool manufacturing.
Select suitable machining processes, cutting tools, fixtures, and measuring instruments.
Coordinate with Design, CNC Programming, Production, and Quality departments to ensure smooth execution.
Support current product development and tool trials.
Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and resolve production bottlenecks.
Robust knowledge of tool room manufacturing processes including CNC Milling, CNC Turning, EDM, Wire Cut EDM, Grinding, and Heat Treatment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and tolerance requirements.
Knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures, gauges, and inspection methods.
