Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer with a robust technical background and mandatory experience in the Insurance domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with API development and integration, programming, and testing. Prior experience with InsureMO is preferred; however, candidates with relevant insurance experience and the required technical skills will be provided training on the InsureMO platform.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain applications using modern programming technologies.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems.
Work with JSON, XML, and Swagger/OpenAPI specifications for API design and integration.
Develop business rules and workflows using Groovy, Rego, and Blockly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Perform API testing, unit testing, and support integration testing activities.
Write and optimize basic SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
Use Git for version control and JIRA for Agile project management.
Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.

Mandatory Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Mandatory experience in the Insurance domain (P&C;, Life, or Health Insurance).
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a cooperative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working on the InsureMO platform.
Exposure to enterprise integration and API-driven architecture.
Experience with microservices-based applications is an added advantage.

Significant Note
Insurance domain experience is mandatory.
Experience with InsureMO is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with the required insurance experience and technical skills will receive training on the InsureMO platform.
