Mechanical Engineer with experience in Current Product Development (NPD), Sheet Metal Design, and Product Development. Skilled in developing new products from concept to production using SolidWorks/ and AutoCAD. Experienced in sheet metal fabrication processes including laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, and assembly.

Strong knowledge of GD&T;, DFM, BOM preparation, prototype development, engineering change management, and manufacturing process optimization. Capable of coordinating with design, production, quality, vendors, and customers to ensure successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities
Develop new sheet metal products from customer requirements and drawings.
Create 3D models, sheet metal parts, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings.
Prepare BOM, fabrication drawings, and DXF files for production.
Perform feasibility studies and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
Coordinate prototype development, testing,



and validation activities.
Support tooling, fixture, and gauge development.
Handle Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
Work closely with production, quality, purchase, and suppliers for smooth product development.
Improve product quality, manufacturability, and cost through design optimization.
Ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
