Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsman with 2–5 years of experience in preparing detailed engineering drawings and supporting product development activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in creating accurate 2D manufacturing drawings, applying GD&T; principles, performing tolerance stack-up analysis, creating Bills of Materials (BoM), and working with PLM systems. A solid understanding of manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) is essential.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing and assembly drawings based on engineering designs.
Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BoM).
Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T;) standards in engineering drawings.
Perform tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure proper fit, function, and manufacturability.
Maintain design documentation and revision control using PLM systems.
Support design engineers by preparing and updating engineering drawings.
Ensure drawings comply with company standards and manufacturing requirements.
Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and production teams to resolve drawing-related issues.




Incorporate engineering changes and maintain drawing accuracy throughout the product lifecycle.
Follow Design for Manufacturing (DFM) guidelines while preparing drawings.

Required Skills
Strong proficiency in creating 2D engineering and manufacturing drawings.
Good understanding of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
Experience in tolerance stack-up analysis.
Knowledge of BoM (Bill of Materials) creation and management.
Hands-on experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems.
Understanding of manufacturing processes, including:
Casting
Machining
Sheet Metal Fabrication
Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
Positive communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2–5 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman or Mechanical CAD Engineer.
Solid understanding of engineering drawings, drafting standards, and manufacturing processes.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.
Attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality technical documentation
