Role & responsibilities
Develop and finalize jewellery designs in line with market trends, customer preferences, and business requirements.
Coordinate with vendors and manufacturing partners to ensure timely development of samples and finished products.
Monitor product development from design approval to production, ensuring quality, craftsmanship, and design accuracy.
Collaborate with merchandising, sourcing, and retail teams to create commercially viable and profitable collections.
Track development timelines, resolve production issues, and ensure on-time launch of recent jewellery collections.

Preferred candidate profile
Graduation not required - however, a certification or diploma in Jewellery Design will be an added advantage.
38 years of experience in jewellery design coordination, product development, merchandising, or manufacturing within the jewellery industry.
Strong knowledge of gold, diamond, gemstone,



and traditional jewellery manufacturing processes.
Hands-on experience coordinating with karigars, workshops, and external vendors for sample and product development.
Ability to understand design sketches and translate them into finished products while ensuring quality, feasibility, and cost effectiveness.
Valuable understanding of jewellery weights, stone setting, finishing techniques, and production timelines.
Robust follow-up, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to identify design deviations, quality issues, and production challenges.
Comfortable travelling to vendor locations and manufacturing units as required.
Proficient in MS Excel and basic reporting; CAD knowledge is optional but not mandatory.
