Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced NPD Manager – Plastics to lead the end-to-end development of new plastic products, from concept to commercialization. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in polymer materials, plastic processing technologies, product design, tooling development, and cross-functional project management. The role requires close coordination with Marketing, Production, Quality, Procurement, and customers to ensure timely and successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end new product development projects for plastic products.
Develop cutting-edge products based on customer requirements and market trends.
Select suitable polymer grades and raw materials based on product application.
Coordinate with Design, Tool Room, Production, Quality, and Procurement teams during product development.
Conduct feasibility studies, cost analysis, and risk assessments for new products.




Develop product specifications, BOMs, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
Plan and execute product trials, validation, and pilot production.
Resolve technical issues during product development and production scale-up.
Work closely with tool manufacturers for mold development and modifications.
Ensure products comply with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
Manage multiple development projects while meeting project timelines and budgets.
Drive product improvement, value engineering, and cost optimization initiatives.
Support customers during product development, sampling, and approval stages.
Mentor and guide the NPD team to improve technical capabilities and project execution.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of plastic materials, polymers, additives, and processing techniques.
Hands-on experience in Injection Moulding, Blow Moulding, Extrusion, or Thermoforming.
Knowledge of mold design and tooling development.
Understanding of product validation and testing procedures.
