ROLE OVERVIEW

Planning Interns will support the project team in data collection, GIS mapping, infrastructure analysis, and report preparation for the Station Decongestion and Maintenance Facility Feasibility Study. This is an excellent chance for aspiring planners to gain hands-on experience on a large-scale railway infrastructure project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with GIS-based mapping, spatial analysis, and documentation of railway infrastructure and land parcels
Support field surveys, data collection, and verification activities across Delhi-area railway sites
Compile and analyse data on existing depot layouts, land use, connectivity corridors, and site characteristics
Prepare maps, infographics, and visual presentations to support project reports and presentations




Assist senior consultants in site evaluation frameworks and comparative analysis tasks
Support preparation of interim and final consultancy report sections related to land and infrastructure planning
Perform research on best practices in railway infrastructure planning and maintenance facility design

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Currently pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's in Planning, Infrastructure Planning, Urban Planning, or equivalent from a recognised institution
Knowledge of GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS) and spatial data handling preferred
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis tools
Solid research, writing, and communication skills
Interest in railway, transport, or infrastructure planning

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
