We’re Hiring | QHSE Engineer for Chennai Location

We are seeking a QHSE Engineer with 8–10 years of Home Office/Detailed Engineering experience supporting EPC/EPCM projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy sectors . The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001, engineering QA, internal audits, compliance, and continuous improvement . Home Office QHSE experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities
Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.
Review engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with client specifications, applicable codes, standards, and project requirements .
Prepare, review, and maintain Project Quality Plans, Quality Procedures, Inspection & Test Plans, and related quality documentation .
Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Project Management,



and other functional teams to address and resolve quality-related matters.
Conduct internal quality audits , identify areas for improvement, and manage NCRs, CAPAs, corrective actions, and quality records .
Monitor and report quality KPIs , identify trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure consistent compliance with company, project, client, and applicable quality requirements throughout the engineering/project lifecycle.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
8–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within EPC/Oil & Gas projects.
Mandatory: Hands-on experience in Home Office / Engineering Quality Assurance within an engineering or detailed engineering workplace.
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification will be an added advantage.
