Act as the first point of contact (L1) for any issues related to video conferencing (VC) and unified communications.
Provide telephonic/electronic support for incident reporting, service requests, and status updates.
Troubleshoot basic functional issues and escalate tickets if required.
Manage service requests, user rights assignments/modifications, and periodic rights monitoring.
Classify incidents and requests (functional clarification, bug, or change request).
Provide support during setup of video conferences/teleconferences/events, including technical assistance and coordination.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of AV rooms, stores, and equipment.
Inventory Management: Track and maintain accurate IT asset records through their lifecycle.
Deploy and revoke user hardware assets during onboarding and exit processes.
Prepare and maintain reports:
Daily Checklist
Weekly Checklist
Monthly Inventory Report
Quarterly Preventive Maintenance Report
Support alert monitoring and prepare health check reports.
Ensure availability during NIC office hours (may extend depending on requirement).
Replace if performance is not up to the mark, as per NIC's discretion.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
1–2 years of experience in unified communication services such as Cisco, Avaya, MS Teams, Zoom, or Skype for Business.
Certification in Unified Communications (e.g., CCNA Collaboration) is preferred.
Note: If not certified, the candidate must complete CCNA Collaboration within 6 months of onboarding.
Robust knowledge in implementation, integration, and troubleshooting of UC solutions and basic networking.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
