Roles And Responsibilities Of Junior Safety Engineer/Safety Engineer
Implement and monitor the EHS management system at project sites.
Prepare, implement, and follow the EHS plan at project sites.
Interacting with all site teams to ensure that all EHS rules and regulations are

followed at work locations at project sites.
Reporting to the safety head or project head about site EHS issues.
Conduct and highlight the requirement of safety through toolbox/ pep talk.
Implement and monitor the Permit to Work System.
Implement and Monitor the Protected Work System.
Conduct promotional and awareness program at the workplace.
Reporting of incident, accident, near misses, dangerous occurrences to the safety

head or project head.
Participate and assist in the incident investigation and risk assessment program.




Regularly inspecting work areas, equipment and processes to ensure compliance

with safety regulations.
Conduct first-day safety induction for the recent workers and staff and maintain

records.
Ensuring adequate PPE’s and safety equipment as required are available.
Conduct and participate in campaign competitions and other special emphasis

programs to promote safety in the workplace.
Prepare the monthly calendar and conduct the EHS training as per plan.
Prepare and maintain the various EHS documents.
Inspect the equipment, tools, and machinery as per the checklist and maintain the
