Role & responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities through customer visits, networking, and market intelligence.
Manage and grow existing customer accounts by identifying current applications and cross-selling opportunities.
Promote Synergistix's portfolio of specialty chemicals and advanced materials through consultative and solution-based selling.
Understand customer manufacturing processes and recommend appropriate materials based on application requirements.
Coordinate with international principals for technical discussions, sampling, product selection, troubleshooting, and commercialization.
Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and successfully close business opportunities.
Generate and manage project pipelines through CRM and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
Conduct technical presentations, seminars, and product demonstrations for customers.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and emerging technologies.
Represent Synergistix at exhibitions, technical conferences, and industry events.
Coordinate internally with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, and Logistics teams to ensure excellent customer experience.





Preferred candidate profile

Education
B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.
M.Sc. Chemistry or Polymer Science candidates are also encouraged to apply.
MBA (Marketing) will be an added advantage.

Experience
38 years of B2B technical sales or business development experience.
Experience in Specialty Chemicals, Advanced Materials, Medical Device Materials, Industrial Chemicals, Polymers, Adhesives, Coatings, Electronic Materials, or related industries.
Exposure to solution selling and application-based sales will be preferred.

Required Skills
Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn advanced materials.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to understand customer manufacturing processes.
Solid relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
Commercial negotiation and business development capabilities.
