Role & responsibilities
Analyze primary and secondary sales data to generate actionable insights for improving sales performance and distribution efficiency.
Prepare and publish daily, weekly, and monthly sales dashboards, MIS reports, and business performance trackers.
Monitor distributor performance, stock levels, fill rates, inventory ageing, and replenishment to ensure uninterrupted product availability.
Support sales teams with demand forecasting, sales planning, target tracking, and business review presentations.
Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT teams to resolve operational issues related to orders, billing, and distribution.
Maintain and validate data in SFA, DMS, ERP, and reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
Identify sales trends, market prospects, and business gaps through data analysis and recommend corrective actions.
Develop automated reports and analytical models using Excel, Power BI, or similar BI tools to improve decision-making.
Ensure timely closure of distributor claims, sales incentives, commercial reports,



and compliance-related documentation.
Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives to enhance sales operations and reporting efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile
Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or Statistics; MBA preferred.
3 to 6 years of experience in Sales Analytics, Sales Operations, Distribution Planning, or Commercial Support in FMCG, Consumer Goods, or Apparel industries.
Strong understanding of distributor management, primary and secondary sales, inventory planning, and sales reporting.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, Lookups) and Power BI; knowledge of SAP, DMS, or SFA systems is preferred.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to interpret complex business data.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a rapid-paced sales workplace.
