Role: Service Engineer

Role Definition The Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance and calibration of automated systems. The role also supports the Customer Support team by performing calibration of standard NDT Products, coordinating with customers, and maintaining service documentation to ensure timely and effective customer support.

Tasks & Activities 1. Installation & Commissioning
Install and commission automated systems
Configure PLC, HMI and I&C; devices
Perform system testing and customer handover
Prepare commissioning reports
Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance
Perform preventive maintenance
Attend breakdown calls and resolve issues
Replace faulty components when required
Maintain service records
Troubleshooting & Technical Support
Provide onsite and remote technical support




Support system upgrades and modifications
Coordinate with internal teams
Ensure timely closure of service requests
PLC Programming, Wiring & I&C; Activities
Perform PLC programming and troubleshooting
Carry out wiring and panel testing
Verify system performance
Follow safety and quality standards
Calibration of Standard Products
Calibrate NDT Products & Systems
Maintain calibration records
Ensure calibration quality and timely completion
Follow internal calibration procedures
Customer Coordination & Documentation
Coordinate with customers on service and calibration status
Prepare service and calibration reports
Maintain accurate service documentation
