Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain networking software for Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols.
Develop high-performance applications using C/C++ on embedded Linux platforms.
Implement and enhance routing, switching, and network virtualization features.
Develop and troubleshoot networking protocols such as BGP, MPLS, EVPN, VXLAN, OSPF, IS-IS, and BFD.
Work on control plane and data plane software development.
Optimize software for scalability, performance, and low latency.
Debug complex networking issues using packet capture and protocol analysis tools.
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, QA, and product engineering teams.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and release activities.
Prepare technical documentation and design specifications.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions.
