Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise?wide API architecture, strategy, and governance, with deep ownership of Apigee?based API platforms.
- Architect, design, and oversee delivery of scalable, secure, high?performance API ecosystems aligned with organizational integration strategy.
- Establish and enforce API standards, design guidelines, governance models, and reusable patterns across multiple engineering teams.
- Own end?to?end API lifecycle management from conceptualization and design to deployment, monitoring, versioning, and retirement.
- Drive architecture of secure, reusable, and future?ready APIs, ensuring alignment with business, security, and performance requirements.
- Enable API monetization, analytics, traffic management,



and developer experience through effective platform engineering.
- Collaborate with product, business, backend, frontend, and security teams to define integration patterns for internal, partner, and external consumers.
- Lead transformation initiatives including migration from legacy integrations to contemporary API?led connectivity.
- Oversee scalability planning, performance tuning, incident management, and production stabilization for API platforms.
- Mentor engineering teams on API design, Apigee capabilities, platform best practices, and architectural thinking.
