Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Silicon Firmware & Embedded Engineer with solid expertise in Embedded C to develop firmware that interfaces directly with silicon and embedded hardware. The ideal candidate should have experience in embedded systems, firmware development, hardware-software integration, debugging, and RTOS-based applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional hardware and software teams to design, develop, test, and validate embedded firmware solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain firmware using Embedded C.
Develop pre-silicon and post-silicon firmware for embedded platforms.
Implement and maintain C-based APIs and test applications.
Integrate firmware with hardware components and support board bring-up activities.
Debug firmware issues using JTAG, GDB, Lauterbach, or similar debugging tools.
Work with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB, etc.
Develop applications on RTOS platforms like FreeRTOS, VxWorks, Zephyr, or ThreadX.
Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions.




Validate firmware functionality through testing and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with hardware, validation, and system engineering teams.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements.

Required Skills
5+ years of experience in Embedded C development.
Robust understanding of embedded systems and microcontroller architecture.
Experience with firmware development and hardware-software integration.
Hands-on experience with RTOS.
Knowledge of embedded debugging tools.
Experience with communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, or USB.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle, version control (Git), and build systems.

Preferred Skills
Embedded Linux development.
ARM Cortex or other microcontroller platforms.
Device driver or bootloader development.
Python or Shell scripting for automation.
Knowledge of firmware validation and silicon bring-up.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Embedded C/Firmware development.
15 years of full time education.
