Position Overview The Senior Commissioning Engineer (ELV Systems) is responsible for supervising and executing commissioning activities for Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address, BMS, Structured Cabling, and other low-current systems. The role involves ensuring system integration, performance verification, and compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities
Lead commissioning of ELV systems including but not limited to:
CCTV & Surveillance Systems
Access Control & Security Systems
Fire Alarm & Life Safety Systems
Public Address/Voice Alarm Systems
Building Management System (BMS)
Structured Cabling/Data Networks
IPTV/SMATV and other integrated ELV solutions
Prepare and review commissioning plans, method statements, procedures, and checklists.
Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and system integration verification.
Ensure all systems meet design intent, project specifications, and international codes/standards.
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives for smooth execution.
Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians during commissioning.
Generate and maintain commissioning reports, test sheets,



as-built documentation, and handover files.
Provide technical training and handover assistance to the client’s operations team.
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company quality procedures during all site activities.

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related discipline.
8+ years of experience in commissioning, with at least 4 years in ELV systems commissioning.
Robust hands-on knowledge of ELV systems integration, programming, and testing.
Familiarity with major OEMs (Honeywell, Siemens, Bosch, Schneider, Johnson Controls, etc.).
In-depth understanding of relevant international standards (NFPA, BICSI, BS/EN, ISO, etc.).
Solid leadership, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
