Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated South Indian Cook to prepare authentic, hygienic, and nutritious South Indian meals for a hostel mess. The ideal candidate should have expertise in preparing a variety of South Indian breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack items while maintaining high standards of food quality and kitchen hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare authentic South Indian dishes such as Idli, Dosa, Uttapam, Vada, Pongal, Upma, Sambar, Rasam, Chutneys, Lemon Rice, Curd Rice, Tamarind Rice, and other regional specialties.
Plan and prepare daily meals for hostel residents as per the approved menu.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of food.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in accordance with food safety standards.
Monitor food stock, ingredients, and kitchen supplies, and report shortages when required.




Minimize food wastage and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
Follow safety procedures while handling kitchen equipment and cooking appliances.
Coordinate with the mess management team to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Maintain proper storage of raw materials and cooked food.

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a South Indian Cook in a hostel, canteen, restaurant, hotel, or institutional kitchen.
Expertise in preparing authentic South Indian cuisine in large quantities.
Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
Physically fit and willing to work adaptable shifts, if required.

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
