High School Social Science Teacher (CBSE)

Location: Karimnagar, Telangana

Key Responsibilities
Teach Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science/Civics, and Economics) to students of Classes VI–X as per the CBSE curriculum.
Prepare engaging lesson plans and deliver interactive classroom sessions.
Conduct assessments, evaluate answer scripts, and provide constructive feedback.
Develop students' critical thinking, analytical skills, and awareness of current affairs.
Integrate maps, projects, presentations, and digital tools into teaching.
Maintain student records, attendance, and academic progress reports.
Prepare students for periodic assessments, board-oriented examinations, and competitions.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, assemblies, and staff meetings.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning workplace.
Perform other academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in History,



Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a related Social Science subject.
B.Ed. is mandatory.
CTET/TET qualification is preferred.
Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school

Skills Required
Strong knowledge of the CBSE Social Science curriculum.
Excellent English communication and classroom management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, Smart Boards, and digital teaching platforms.
Positive organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Ability to handle Classes VI–X confidently.
Experience in activity-based and experiential learning.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹42,946.30 per month
