Key Responsibilities of a Speech Therapy Assistant:
Therapy Implementation:
Deliver speech therapy sessions as outlined by the supervising SLP.
Use techniques and exercises to improve articulation, fluency, voice, and language comprehension.
Assist patients with alternative communication devices (e.g., augmentative and alternative communication systems).
Supportive Services:
Help create and set up therapy materials such as flashcards, games, or visual aids.
Conduct speech and language screenings, if allowed by local regulations, under SLP guidance.
Observe and document patients’ responses during therapy sessions.
Progress Monitoring:
Record detailed notes on patient progress to inform SLP evaluations.
Report any changes or concerns in a patient’s condition to the supervising SLP.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain therapy logs,
organize patient files, and handle scheduling.
Prepare and clean therapy spaces or equipment.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with SLPs, teachers, parents, and caregivers to support patient goals.
Provide updates on therapy activities to ensure coordinated care.
Educational Requirements:
Diploma in speech-language pathology assisting, communication disorders, or a related field.
Certification as an RCI, where required by state or regional regulations.

Job Type: Full time Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
